October 20, 2006the Administration of the USA has made a decision, according to which the name of the Ukrainian capital will be written and said according to the Ukrainian pronunciation - "Kyiv".
The matter is that in English language there is no sound "y" so now many Americans will have problems with a correct-official pronunciation of capital of Ukraine. category:policy
